Workshop 3: Working Into The Future
Once you have re-imagined your organization and started to design a whole systems permaculture plan, it’s time to explore the practical steps necessary to make it happen. In this workshop, we’ll examine internal and external resources, appropriate technologies and creative strategies to make the vision real.
Here is what your day might look like:
Obtain a yield
- Making your sustainability plan fit into your business plan and finding new opportunities to profit from a whole systems design that reduces inputs and increases yields.
- Using your permaculture plan as a marketing tool to attract business and bolster your reputation as well as form new partnerships and create strategic alliances.
- What will we do today to get the plan going and how will we create momentum to keep it moving forward?
- Continuing to observe and interact as the plan unfolds. This process isn’t linear, it doesn’t have an end. We end at the beginning and observe, interact and harmonize with the natural systems to produce what we need.
